In Literacy we have been looking at poems that show the poetic device of personification. Use the Wallwisher page to generate a list of human charascteristics for one of the inanimate objects that has come to life!

Making Bread

Last week was Design and Technology week and children in 5/6B made bread. We started by following a simple bread recipe to make a white loaf. Children were then able to plan and design their own bread. Children made hard dough bread, pitta bread, naan bread and others. Here are some pictures from the week.

The Piano

In Literacy we have been learning about Film Narrative. We started our work by watching a short animation entitled "The Piano."




Children have used Comic Life to retell the story in a comic style. Here is work by Abazz, Savannah and Azizah.
